BRO MSW Recruitment 2025 – Overview
Border Roads Organisation (BRO), under the Ministry of Defence, has released a recruitment notification for 411 Multi-Skilled Worker (MSW) vacancies in various trades. Only male Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
✔ MSW (Cook, Mess Waiter): Matriculation (10th pass) + knowledge of Indian cooking.
✔ MSW (Mason, Blacksmith): Matriculation (10th pass) + ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.
Age Limit (as of 24 Feb 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
- Central Govt Employees: Up to 40 years (UR), 43 years (OBC), 45 years (SC/ST)
Selection Process
The selection will be based on:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying nature
- Practical Test/Trade Test – Qualifying nature
- Written Examination – 100 marks (Final merit based on this test)
- Medical Examination

- Fill out the application form carefully in English or Hindi.
- Attach the required documents:
- Matriculation certificate
- ITI certificate (for Mason & Blacksmith)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar Card (linked to mobile number)
- Proof of residence
- Application fee receipt
- Send the completed application to GREF Centre, Pune-411015 before the last date.
